About the position
At SICK, we are looking for someone who wants to take a central role in aligning our strategy with customer needs and ensuring long-term, successful partnerships. In this role, you will:
- Develop SICK's strategy to maximize customer potential and build strong partnerships.
- Ensure and negotiate global agreements for long-term collaborations.
- Coordinate and lead projects and business development both internally and with customers.
- Be responsible for pricing and create customized solutions that meet customer needs.
- Ensure that the right expertise from both parties is brought together to optimize collaboration.
- Identify and drive indirect business opportunities through proactive work.
- Work with both serial products and project-based solutions.

Qualification and traits
We are looking for someone who:
- Has worked with international customers, teams, or markets, and understands different cultures and ways of thinking.
- Has experience in sales and building long-term customer relationships.
- Has worked on or towards projects or initiatives related to sustainability and electrification.
- Experience from the automotive industry is a significant advantage but not required.
As a person, you are:
- Skilled at balancing independent work with coordinating projects and activities with others.
- Driven to learn new things and naturally curious about developments in electrification and sustainable technology.
- Someone who wants to contribute to the green transition and be part of a fast-evolving industry.
- Results-focused with a clear business mindset.
- Humble, adaptable to different situations and people, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
- Someone with a natural ability to build trust and relationships at all levels of the customer's organization.
